Our Background
Paul "Buck" Chambers: A Journey from Ocean City to the Skies
Hello, I'm Paul "Buck" Chambers, and I’d like to share my journey of exploration, dedication, and vision that led me to where I am today. I was born in the coastal town of Ocean City, Maryland, where my early days were filled with the adventure of sports and a budding passion for capturing moments. These experiences and the values they instilled have shaped my life and career in profound ways.
From Sports Enthusiast to Skilled Professional
Growing up, I found my footing in sports—soccer, baseball, and football—each teaching me teamwork, discipline, and resilience. Those same qualities later became the backbone for my work in the field and beyond.
Aviation and Photography: Early Passions
My fascination with aviation began in childhood, building model and R/C planes with my father. This curiosity in flight mechanics only grew, complemented by my high school photography class, where I discovered a knack for capturing compelling images. My first photography display cemented a passion that continues today.
A Multi-Faceted Career Path
After high school, I delved into roles in construction, food and beverage, flood restoration, HVAC, and real estate appraisal. Each role added depth to my skillset and shaped my work ethic, adaptability, and diverse technical knowledge.
Service to the Nation and Specialized Training
In 2007, I enlisted in the Marine Corps infantry, leading to deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. The experience forged an unwavering dedication to service. My journey continued with a specialization as a Counterintelligence Agent in 2015, where I developed skills in low-light and indirect photography, as well as drone operation. Acquiring my first drone opened up new horizons in aerial photography and videography, enabling innovative aerial capture methods and autonomous flight planning.
Global Experience and Cultural Exposure
My deployments took me across the globe—to Italy, Norway, Romania, Africa, and Japan—broadening my perspective and refining my abilities in complex, multi-cultural environments.
Transition to Civilian Life and Aerial Media
In early 2024, as I retired from the Marine Corps, I transitioned into aerial media with an FAA Part 107 certification. My vision includes delivering construction progression media, agricultural scanning, 3D modeling, orthomosaic mapping, and real estate photography/videography. Drone technology offers boundless possibilities, and I’m excited to provide clients with specialized, impactful services across industries.
A Personal Mission: Capturing America’s Beauty
One of my lifelong goals is to explore and document each of America's National Parks, sharing their natural beauty with the world. This mission is more than just a personal bucket list; it's a dedication to preserving and showcasing the landscapes I hold dear through the lens of my drone.
If you’re looking for a dedicated, skilled FAA Part 107 remote pilot who values excellence in every aerial shot, I’d be honored to bring your vision to life. Thank you for joining me on this journey—I look forward to connecting and creating remarkable aerial media together.
